Meet Dr. Stephanie Dickson

Welcome to the Dickson Dental Studio in Alexandria, Virginia. We hope you notice we are different and that the high level of care our patients receive is exceptional. We emphasize quality cosmetic and family dentistry with advanced technology in a way that makes you feel comfortable, even pampered. Our goal is to build a long-term relationship between our staff and patients, and provide high quality, consumer-friendly dental services for the entire family.

Stephanie Dickson, DMD

Dr. Dickson received her bachelor’s of science in mathematics from Louisiana State University and went on to earn her DMD degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. She chose the field of dentistry because she enjoys the artistry of the profession and using her hands to create beautiful smiles for patients.

Air Force and Associateships

After graduating from dental school, she enlisted in the United States Air Force for four years, providing professional oversight to dental health records management at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland. Soon afterward, she became an associate in a general dental private practice and then a partner at another practice, where she remained until 2006 when she decided to go solo and open the Dickson Dental Studio.

Memberships and Continuing Educational

Dr. Dickson is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, District of Columbia Dental Society, American Dental Association and Northern Virginia Dental Society. She is a firm believer in continuing her education so that she can provide the best dentistry possible to her patients.

After Hours

Married with young twins, Joy and Charles, Dr. Dickson spends most of her “free” time with her family, although when she has time, she enjoys running.
